Connecting your Grafana stack to NOFire AI enables seamless collection of application and infrastructure telemetry across microservices and Kubernetes environments. This rich telemetry powers NOFire AI’s automated root cause analysis, using a dynamically built knowledge and causal graph to rapidly identify the real root cause of an incident.
To ensure an easy connection with NOFire AI, you will authenticate using a Grafana Service Account Token.
If you’re running a self-hosted Grafana instance, NOFire AI can connect securely using an AWS VPC PrivateLink. This ensures all traffic remains within your network boundary, following AWS security best practices.
In the NOFire AI dashboard, go to the Connections section and click on Add New Connection.
Select Grafana: From the list available connections
Then, click Next at the top right corner.
Enter credentials:
Connection name (eg. production),
Grafana stack URL
Service Account Token
Click Save to auto-detect the available datasources
Fill the required form: For Metrics, Logs (optional), Traces (optional) and Cloudwatch datasources (optional).
Once the connection is established, NOFire AI begins analyzing your telemetry data to construct a comprehensive knowledge and causal graph of your infrastructure. The processing time may vary depending on the complexity and scale of your environment.
