Connect the NOFire AI bot to your Slack workspace and invite it to the channels that receive your alerts. When an alert arrives in one of those channels, the bot starts a root cause analysis using the telemetry from the systems you already connected.

Prerequisites

  • A Slack workspace, and permission to install an app in it.
  • The Slack channel that receives your alerts.

Step 1: Install the NOFire AI Slack bot

Navigate to the Connections Tab

Test the connection

  1. In the alert channel, type @NOFire AI are you there?. A reply confirms the bot is installed and can read the channel.
  2. Make sure that the Slack connection status is READY in the Connections dashboard.

Troubleshooting

The bot is not a member of that channel. Run /invite @NOFire AI in the channel.
Your Slack account cannot install apps in the workspace. Ask a workspace administrator to approve the app, then install it again.
